At present the vast majority of the work in Green Christian is carried out unpaid. Green Christian has a Steering Committee of 12 people which meets at least three times a year, and has three telephone conference calls between meetings. Our AGM is usually in November.  Some members help on a regular basis with membership, distribution of resources, proof reading, website and prayer diary.  Other members contribute by helping produce material for topic leaflets; by organising events; by taking Green Christian display posters and leaflets to local events and national events such as Greenbelt; and in many other ways. We al ways welcome offers of help.

Much of Green Christian’s administrative work is divided between two teams:

Creative: – i.e Design, media, (Chair Paul Bodenham)
exhibitions, leaflets, Green Christian, Storm of Hope, web design.

Community – i.e. Membership database, accounts (Chair Barbara Echlin)
localgroups, links with other organisations.

Specialist teams are convened from time to time to take forward Green Christian initiatives such as:

Joy in Enough, is a challenge to Christians in Britain, and an invitation to all people of good will, to join in building a just economy within the ecological limits of the Earth.

Way of Life, the Green Christian Way of Life – Finding our Path and Walking Gently Together

Xistence Project, intially a research project exploring how we can best serve the younger generation of both Christians and others in their 20’s and 30’s.
